In case you missed it, last week on his show, Conan O’Brien visited Taco Bell headquarters in Irvine, CA.
Accompanied by one of his Taco-Bell-obsessed slaves… I mean, employees… they fulfilled one of my life-long dreams of visiting the kingdom where all the magic happens.
Once arriving on location, things quickly turned as “Conan-y” as things could get; and by that, I mean, it got very creepy.
The gang met up with Katie Gardiner, Marketing Manager for Taco Bell, who informed them that in order to be a super fan you have to consume Taco Bell at least twice a week (if only I could do that and not get fat). According to Gardiner, if you want to take it to the next level, you have to get a Taco Bell Tattoo.
The tour continued with a trip down memory lane, looking at a timeline of all of Taco Bell’s biggest accomplishments; one being the invention of the Crunchwrap.
Next, and probably the best part of the video, the tour continued to the tasting area where, apparently, employees get paid to taste new concoctions. Conan took a liking to a particular individual, and while some scenes were cringe worthy, they were hilarious nonetheless.
Finally, the tour ended in the kitchen where Conan and his “friend” were able to try not-yet-released-to-the-public items. Conan also had the chance to show the staff his own creations. There, the O’Taco was created.

FYI Taco Bell, I’m still waiting for my Golden Ticket for my very own personal tour.
