The year 1962 was when my life changed forever.

I mean, I wasn`t actually born yet, but it would still affect my life in the future. Obviously.

1962 was the year my Lord and Savior, Glen Bell, created the first Taco Bell.

A recent outcry to save the Holy Land in Downey, CA has been prevalent in the news this past week.

The beautiful vintage building has been vacant for some time now, however, George Redfox of the Downey Conservancy fears that because the building is located on a large piece of land, “then it could possibly have a bulldozer (coming through).”

 “Can you tell me (Taco Bell Corporate) couldn’t spend the billions of dollars they made from Doritos Locos Tacos to buy the damn building?” – Gustavo Arellano, author of “Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America.

While City Hall has not received any permits to knock down the building, there is still a chance it could happen eventually.

Do your part as an Internet Activist and join me and 96 other Taco Ballers in signing the petition to save the original Taco Bell.
