What does rap music and Taco Bell have in common? More than you think, actually.
Nothing’s cooler than getting a shout out from a big time rapper, and according to these songs, there is nothing more thuggish than Taco Bell.
Here are my top six favorite songs that name drop Taco Bell in their lyrics:
*Some songs featured are NSFW. You’ve been warned*
6. Fergalicious by Fergie
I’m not clean, I’m not pristine
I’m no queen, I’m no machine
I still go to Taco Bell
Drive through, raw as hell
I don’t care, I’m still real
No matter how many records I sell
This song is pretty much Generation Z’s “Jenny From the Block“. Fergie Ferg tells the world that even though she’s rich and famous and married to that hottie Josh Duhamel, she’s a normal person like us peasants and still goes to Taco Bell. WE ARE NOT WORTHY!
5. Gone by Kanye West
What the summer of the Chi got to offer an eighteen-year-old
Sell drugs or get a job you gotta play your role
My dog worked at Taco Bell, hooked us up plural
Fired a week later, the manager count the churros
No matter how ridiculous you think he, is Yeezus is a genius for this album. In this particular song, Yeezy talks about how hard it was to keep a job in Chicago when he was 18 that the kids had to resort to drug dealing. He even mentioned that his friend worked at Taco Bell and was fired a week later.
4. B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad) by Outkast
Like a three-piece just ‘fore I cut your daughter
Yo quiero Taco Bell, then I hit the border
Pitty pat rappers trying to get to 5
I’m a microphone fiend tryin’ to stay alive
When you come to ATL boy you betta not hide
So, to be honest, I don’t really know what Andre 3000 is talking about but according to Rap Genius, it’s pretty dirty. Just a reminder that they performed this, after an 11 year hiatus, at Coachella these past couple weekends, and I was not one of the 90,000 people there to witness it.
3. Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell by Das Racist
I’m at the Pizza Hut (What?)
I’m at the Taco Bell (What?)
I’m at the combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell
Taco Bell is mentioned 28 times in this song. To be fair, Kool AD and Hima pretty much just say the same thing over and over again. Be prepared to have this stuck in your head all day. Your welcome.
2. Taco Bell Value Menu Rap
What’s up Stephanie?
How yo doin’ today?
89 cents is what we’re gonna pay
Say hello to Bobby, he’s in the back seat
Steph, give me something big
WITH A BUNCH OF BEEF
89 cent cheesy double beef burrito
Why pay more?
That’s big and cheap yo
So here’s what we do
I want one, You want one too?
This one is self-explanatory. I think I’m going to start ordering like this from now on. Watch out Taco Bell, Krystal Based God (yes, that’s my rapper name) is comin’ fo’ ya!

1. The Taco Bell 89 Cent Burrito Drive Thru rap
Don’t wanna spend dollar
Just cents every time
We want Grilled Chicken for only 89
Cause it tasty so cheap and it’s packed to last
I know I’m talking fast, did you get all that?
“That’s how it’s done my dad”
Hold on son, lets repeat it back
I can hear you rap
Cause you rap like a hat
So here we go, watch me flow
89 cent Grilled Chicken Burrito
It’s chickalicious everybody smack a burry dentified
Spice so light when yo wallet kinda tight
And you wanna keep it goin?
We can battle all night
The most epic of them all. What made this rap unique, and clearly at the top of my list, is that it came with a surprise ending. I was NOT expecting the cashier to pull that little number on them.
